Building a ‘thing’ is one thing; creating a prototype that solves a critical problem within existing constraints is our speciality. This expertise defines our approach to developing prototypes.
We start with the high-priority needs, aiming to create prototypes that provide real benefits to end-users, ideally not a 'throw-away version'. We then focus on testing various concepts, technologies, and functionalities to ensure they deliver value. We understand that delivering value is key to advancing projects beyond the early prototype stage.
If there are several key project outcomes or directions to be measured and evaluated, you may consider multiple cycles of this package.
Input
We need the below information and background from you. Most of these are expected ‘Output’ from our ‘Requirements Gathering ’ and ‘Technical Assessment’ packages. Information requested includes:
Refined problem statement with end-user validation
Stakeholder personas and insights
Technical requirements
Possible feature list with prioritisation
Organisational constraints and limitations
Legal and policy constraints
Future considerations
Success criteria
We will run a kickoff workshop with you to help identify any gaps.
Output
You will be provided with a prototype that has been designed to deliver value for the key end-users. To get to this point, we will have worked closely with you, making decisions about what to include and focus on along the way and looking to meet as many success criteria as possible. Expected output will include:
Prototype - Links to the working prototype
Testing plan - A plan for further end-user testing. This will likely include:
Objectives
Methodologies
Participant criteria
Metrics for success
Delivery report - This will likely include:
Documentation of decisions made during the process
Feedback and usability report
Design collateral to give a clear guide for understanding how the prototype was built and how it is intended to be used. Such as: wireframes, user flow diagrams, interface designs, user interaction models, visual design
Recommendations for for a scalable/production version
Roadmap for further development
Value assessment and ROI Analysis
Time and Resource:
Duration: This package is designed to be delivered over 4-week sprint cycles. Extending or shortening the sprint cycle at an additional cost may be possible. Cycles can be added as the project develops.
Our resource - A project manager will likely work with a minimum of four other key roles during the delivery:
Solution Architect
Lead Developer
Designer
Engagement Lead
Your Resource - We need to have regular and open communication with your team. At a minimum, this should include:
A kick-off workshop with key project SMEs and decision maker(s)
Weekly sprint planning meetings with a contactable project lead during the delivery period.
Two meetings with the project sponsor or key decision maker during the delivery.
Project debriefing and retro
Cost: $31,680
Prototyping: Package 2
