An approach that is more flexible, transparent, and designed to deliver value for you, not maximize your spend.

Our package style approach allows you to identify your project's needs based on stage, budget, or requirements. Packages can be stacked, stage-gated or tailored to best fit your delivery methodology or model. This package-style approach is designed around a modern project management style, not a traditional waterfall model. We specialise in working with local and central government and third-sector organisations (NGO's, charities, etc).

Our approach includes five packages:

OUR SERVICE APPROACH

This critical phase establishes a project's scope, defines organizational needs, and determines the required outcomes. You may complete this phase with an internal project before engaging with Public Purpose Technologies. However, we are very experienced and enthusiastic about this phase of any project and, with this package, can develop the project requirement documentation.

By setting a solid foundation for project planning and execution, this phase provides a comprehensive understanding of the project objectives, stakeholders, system or solution requirements, and the overall development and delivery strategy. This thorough approach aims to address all policy requirements before advancing to the next stage, a technical assessment.

Requirements Gathering

Package zero

This package is designed to provide a clear understanding of the available technical options, their associated risks and benefits, and the essential information for future-proofing your project.

We collaborate closely with our expert partners and your project team or SMEs to understand the technical requirements and constraints. Through detailed documentation, we empower you to make an informed initial assessment of your technology options. This is done from a technology-agnostic perspective.

Technical Assessment

Package 1

Building a ‘thing’ is one thing; creating a prototype that solves a critical problem within existing constraints is our speciality. This expertise defines our approach to developing prototypes.

We start with the high-priority needs, aiming to create prototypes that provide real benefits to end-users, ideally not a 'throw-away version'. We then focus on testing various concepts, technologies, and functionalities to ensure they deliver value. We understand that delivering value is key to advancing projects beyond the early prototype stage.

If there are several key project outcomes or directions to be measured and evaluated, you may consider multiple cycles of this package.

Cost: $29,700

Prototyping

Package 2

We will iteratively build your project, continuously refining and enhancing the solution based on feedback and testing.

This phase includes ongoing design changes, development work, and revisions, following an agile, rapid development approach. We refine the prototype in two-week increments for approx. 6 weeks, incorporating real end-user feedback to test assumptions, validate ideas, and ensure the product aligns with its business case and solves the intended problems.

By iteratively improving the solution, we ensure it evolves to meet user needs and project goals effectively. This package is designed to deliver a fully working solution. Depending on the features or complexity required, more than one cycle may be needed.

Cost: $36,960

Iteratively Build and Refine

Package 3

When your project is ready for launch, we can deliver the project and ensure it is supported and maintained as required.

We work with you to determine the lowest-cost, highest-quality and most secure solution for ongoing hosting, support, maintenance, and future improvements. Following a technology and vendor-agnostic approach, we will provide you with the options so you can determine the best fit.
